The Spectra 610 offers simultaneous or independent compression and limiting. Inserted prior to any compressor, “Limit mode” improves performance by eliminating program peaks, letting your favorite compressor shine.

We’ve emulated both a vintage unit from Tchad Blake’s collection and a modern one to offer two distinct flavours with slightly different harmonic content, frequency & dynamic response.

Faithful modeling of a unique design

In collaboration with Spectra 1964, we gained access to William G. Dilley’s original, detailed schematics and personal notes to create the most faithful model of this incredible design.
