精致的真连音人声采样

欢迎来到全新系列——Sonora Cinematic Select 的第一款产品。这是一个无附加功能、价格实惠、易于使用且音质惊人的采样库系列，专为作曲家和制作人打造。

Emma Legato 是应用户对“真连音”采样库的呼声而诞生的——但“真连音”到底是什么意思？

所谓“真连音”（True Legato）是一种采样技术，它不仅录制乐器的每一个音符，还录制了每对音符之间的过渡音。这种方法可以实现极具表现力和真实感的演奏效果——也意味着采样量非常庞大！

操作界面

在主界面中，你可以在三种发音之间进行切换：

  • 哼唱（Humming）

  • 轻颤音（Poco Vibrato）

  • 啊音（Aahs） —— 带有更富表现力的颤音

接下来是速度控制（SPEED）…

连音速度控制

当你演奏较快时，过渡也应更迅速；而当你演奏抒情、情感丰富的旋律时，过渡则应更缓慢，并带有自然的滑音感。这正是 SPEED 控制器 发挥作用的地方。

你可以手动调整 SPEED 来匹配音乐，或点击 AUTO（自动） 模式，让 Emma Legato 根据音符间的距离自动调整过渡速度——音程越大，过渡越慢。

此外，还有一个便捷的按键切换（keyswitch），让你可以在特定段落中即时启用或关闭 AUTO 模式，实现动态调整。EXPRESSION（表现力）滑块 是一个简单的前级音量控制器，特别适用于你想更精细地塑造演奏强弱时。

选择你的情绪氛围

Emma Legato 配备了即用型电影感混响，能打造史诗般的宏大人声。如果你想要更具电影感或氛围感的声音，这里有两种混响信号可供选择：

  • BLUE 蓝色 —— 带有极强扩散感的闪烁氛围感混响，拥有极长的混响尾音

  • PINK 粉色 —— 缓慢调制的混响，带有颗粒化处理质感

此外，还有一系列精心设计的快照（Snapshots），帮助你快速获得实用的声音效果。

Exquisite True Legato Vocals

Welcome to the first in a brand new series of no-frills, affordable, easy to use and incredible-sounding sample libraries for composers and producers – Sonora Cinematic Select.

Emma Legato is a fantastic collection of playable cinematic vocals with three articulations and a legato speed control that automatically adapts to your playing or piano roll programming. It includes cinematic reverb options and curated snapshots for quick sound customisation and is a powerful and user-friendly tool for creating rich vocal textures and melodic lines for any cinematic or ambient composition.

Emma Legato has been created in response to customer demand for a true Legato sample library, but what does that mean?

‘True Legato’ is a sampling technique that allows the user to perform expressive and highly realistic parts by recording not only the single notes in the range of the musician, but also the transition between each note and every possible other… it’s a huge amount of samples!

And the skilled vocalist who helped us achieve this?

Welcome back, Emma May Price – the same talented classically-trained soprano you heard in our popular Aria Vocalscapes.

THE INTERFACE

From the main interface, you can select between Humming, Poco Vibrato, and Aahs, which feature an expressive vibrato. Then there’s SPEED…

SPEED CONTROL

If you’re playing a little faster you’ll want the transition to be a little faster too, or, if you’re playing a lush, emotional line, you’ll want the transition to be slow, with a touch of natural portamento: here’s where the SPEED control comes in.

Adjust SPEED to suit your music or click on AUTO and Emma Legato adjusts the speed of the transition automatically, depending on the distance between notes. The longer the distance, the slower the transition.

There’s also a handy keyswitch that allows you to turn AUTO mode on and off, if case you want to do adjustments on the fly in a specific passage. The EXPRESSION slider is a simple pre-effects volume control which is particularly useful if you want to have extra control in the shaping of your performance.

CHOOSE YOUR MOOD

Emma Legato features a ready-to-go cinematic reverb which is great for epic sounding vocals. If you want a more cinematic or ambient sound – there’s two signals to choose from…

– BLUE–a shimmery, very diffused ambience with a huge tail.

– PINK–a slowly modulated reverb with some granular-like processing.

In addition, there’s a selection of curated snapshots to help you quickly achieve highly useable sounds.
