KONTAKT 8 便携版安装方法

  1. 创建一个空文件夹。文件夹名称及路径不能包含西里尔字母，且必须是可写路径（不能安装在 Program Files 文件夹中）。
  2. 运行安装程序 (KontaktPortable_v851.exe)。
  3. 点击 Browse… 按钮，选择刚创建的空文件夹。
  4. 点击 Extract 按钮。
  5. 第一次启动 Library Manager 时，会自动扫描工厂内容及已安装的库（会扫描注册表）。

扫描完成后，你必须保存更改，并重新启动 KONTAKT。

如果首次启动时没有保存更改，可以随时通过 Alt + Insert 组合键，或在管理器的右键菜单中选择：
ADD > quick search 来重新启动自动扫描。

默认情况下，库只会添加到经典浏览器（工厂内容除外，它不会被添加到经典浏览器）。你可以在 Library Manager 设置中更改此行为：
Libraries > Manage Libraries in NKS Browser

从旧版本 KONTAKT 8 便携版更新

  1. 运行安装程序 KontaktPortable_v851.exe
  2. 点击 Browse… 按钮，选择包含旧版 KONTAKT 8 便携版文件的文件夹。
  3. 点击 Extract 按钮。
  4. 当出现 Confirm file replace（确认文件替换）窗口时，选择 Yes to All（全部替换）。

注意：在 8.2.0 版本中新增了一种新的 MIDI 效果类型——patterns（模式）。
要将它们添加到数据库，并在 KONTAKT 浏览器中显示，需要启动 Library Manager，点击 SAVE 按钮，然后重启 KONTAKT。

将 KONTAKT 8 便携版 VST3 添加到 DAW

方法 1（并非适用于所有 DAW）：
将 Kontakt8Portable\Kontakt 8\x64\VST3\ 文件夹添加为 DAW 的插件扫描路径。详细方法请参考你的 DAW 使用手册。

方法 2：
运行 Kontakt8Portable\Install.exe
在组件选择页面勾选 “Add VST3 plugin to DAW” 选项。

How to install Kontakt 8 PORTABLE.

1. Create an empty folder. The name of the folder itself and the path to it MUST NOT CONTAIN CYRILLIC. The folder MUST BE WRITTEN (it cannot be installed in the Program Files folder).

2. Run the installer (KontaktPortable_v851.exe).

3. Click the Browse… button and select the created empty folder.

4. Click the Extract button.

5. The first time you launch the Library Manager, it will automatically scan the factory content, as well as the already installed libraries (scanning in the registry).

After scanning is complete, you must save the changes and (re)launch Kontakt.

If the changes were not saved the first time you launched it, you can launch the automatic scan at any time using the Alt + Insert key combination or from the context menu of the Manager:

ADD > quick search

By default, libraries are added to the classic browser only (except for factory content, which is not added to the classic browser). This behavior can be changed in the Library Manager settings:

Libraries > Manage Libraries in NKS Browser

How to update from a previous version of Kontakt 8 PORTABLE.

1. Run the installer KontaktPortable_v851.exe

2. Click the Browse… button and select the folder containing the files of the previous installation of Kontakt 8 PORTABLE.

3. Click the Extract

button 4. When the Confirm file replace window appears , confirm the replacement of files (Click Yes to All )

Note : in version 8.2.0 a new type of midi effects has been added: “patterns”. To add them to the database and, accordingly, to the VKontakte browsers, you need to launch the Library Manager, click the SAVE button and restart VKontakte .

How to add Kontakt 8 PORTABLE VST3 to DAW.

Method 1 (not suitable for all DAWs):

Add the Kontakt8Portable\Kontakt 8\x64\VST3\ folder as an additional plugin scanning folder. For details, refer to your DAW’s manual.

Method 2.

Run Kontakt8Portable\Install.exe

On the component selection page, check the “Add VST3 plugin to DAW” box.
