Camel 是一款 4 插件套件，囊括了英国两个标志性专业音响品牌的音效，这两个品牌凭借其技术创新和成就赢得了行业领导者的美誉。

歌剧院中的均衡器

Camel EQ A 型源自英国老式均衡器/前级模块，具有平衡话筒/线路输入，配备 Lundahl 平衡变压器、可变高通/低通滤波器以及 4 段参数均衡器。高通和低通滤波器可切换为峰值，反之亦然。同样，2 个中频段（低频和高频）的 Q 值可从窄到宽进行切换，反之亦然。

Camel EQ B 型调音台以罕见的分立元件 A 类调音台为基础，1973 年由位于伦敦 Soho 区的英国最著名的录音设施之一推出，不久后便成为一家专业音响制造公司。这台特定的调音台在伦敦度过了它的早期生活，并在皇后乐队的《歌剧院之夜》和大卫-鲍伊的《钻石狗》等传奇专辑的录制过程中发挥了至关重要的作用。

在制作人兼音响工程师安东尼奥-阿基-钦达莫（意大利 Auditoria Records 录音室的创始人之一）的鼎力相助下，我们终于弄到了这台精美的调音台。我们仔细采样了它的 16 个线路前置放大器、16 个话筒前置放大器、调音台的立体声输出前置放大器（包含在插件的自定义前置放大器模块中）以及整个均衡器模块，包括高通滤波器。

正如我们之前指出的，部分插件存在问题。例如，Sienna Volume C 就有很多问题。

* 许多 N2V 无法使用提供的许可证解密。

如果您认为有问题，我们建议您删除 SIENNADATA/ 中的 SIENNAROOMS_C.XML，并停止使用卷 C。

在 Acustica 中，扩展版（产品 A 卷 X）往往比普通产品有更多问题。

An EQ at the Opera

Camel EQ Model A is derived from a vintage British EQ/pre module with balanced mic/line inputs featuring Lundahl balanced transformers; variable high/low pass filters; plus a 4-band parametric EQ. The high and low shelf filters can be switched to peak, and vice versa. Likewise, the 2 mid bands (low and high) have a switchable Q from narrow to broad, and vice versa.

Camel EQ Model B is based on a rare, discrete-component Class A console, introduced in 1973 by one of the most famous recording facilities in the UK, located in the Soho District of London, which shortly after launched itself as a pro audio manufacturing company. This specific console spent its early life in London, and played a critical role in the recording of legendary albums such as Queen’s A Night at the Opera and David Bowie’s Diamond Dogs.

With the invaluable help of producer and sound engineer Antonio Aki Chindamo (co-founder of Auditoria Records recording studio in Italy), we managed to get our hands on this beauty. We carefully sampled its 16 line preamps, 16 mic preamps, the stereo output preamplifier of the console (which is included in the custom preamp module of the plugin), as well as the whole EQ module, including its high-pass filter.

 

A witch says,

Library is completely decrypted, decompressed, DRM related bloat removed, and built to the clean one.

As we alrady pointed out, some of the plugins have issue. For an example, Sienna Volume C was full of the problem.

* Many N2V cannot be decrypted with provided license.

* Some N2S has wrong vector sub path (SIENNA/ instead of SIENNADATA/). This issue was fixed by R2R.

If you think you have problem, we recommend you removing SIENNAROOMS_C.XML from SIENNADATA/ and stop using Volume C.

In Acustica, expansions (Product A Volume X) tend to have more issue than normal product.
