Capture the vibe of one of the richest sounding tube preamps and compressors. The NEOLD V76U73 is an emulation of the Telefunken V76 and U73, which are legendary pieces of audio history. The V76 preamp was designed with nearly unlimited funding from the German government and has enhanced countless songs from the 1950s until today. With the nickname “The German Fairchild,” the U73 compressor/limiter used a variable mu design that made it incredibly popular with mastering engineers in Europe until 1980 when it was discontinued.

A faithful emulation with extra features

The V76U73 is a painstakingly accurate emulation of the real analog circuits of both the V76 and U73. While the plugin honors the straightforward simplicity of the original modules, it also provides some features and optimizations that are only possible in plugin form. There’s a resizable GUI, four layouts that you can manipulate and use to conduct A/B comparisons, a sidechain filter, Mix knob, and a stereo mode selector.
