Zero-G/Xfonic and Stefano Maccarelli are proud to present the latest chapter in the beloved Ethera Gold series: Odyssey.

Odyssey is an exclusive sonic experience dedicated to angelic voices, where celestial harmonies and enchanting melodies blend together to create a unique auditory embrace. Prepare to immerse yourself in a world of pure inspiration, where every note tells a story of emotion and beauty. In Odyssey, we’ve extensively sampled the voice of soprano Sarah Mueller, capturing as much of her expressiveness and natural nuance as possible.

In Odyssey, we’ve refined our True Legato Engine, offering two distinct True Legato instruments: Angelic True Legato and Odyssey True Legato, each with its own set of articulations. Angelic True Legato is perfect when you’re looking for a very light, angelic vocal tone with just a touch of breathiness, it features two main articulations: Ah and Uh. Odyssey True Legato was designed to offer a slightly more structured vocal sound. Our goal was to maintain its inherent lightness whilst delivering a tone that’s a bit more operatic and classical. It features several articulations: Oh, Expressive Syllables, Ah, and a special short articulation. The brand new Adaptive True Legato feature is included in these patches, which when turned on will intelligently respond to the speed you’re playing at, so every legato transition is seamlessly smooth.

Odyssey features a vast selection of Vocal Phrases which add an extra layer of expressiveness to your compositions. We’ve even introduced the ability to select vocal phrases via key switches, giving you the flexibility to choose the exact tone you need without disrupting your creative flow.

The 3 Polyphonic Syllables Builder instruments provide a user-friendly way to create expressive, playable choral atmospheres whilst giving you complete control over harmony, tone, syllables, and sequences.

The final instrument is a powerful 3-layer Texture Designer. With this unique tool, you can create evocative vocal textures. It also comes with a range of presets to get you started. At its core, the instrument features a rewritten version of the Hybrid Engine from Elements Kepler. The Hybrid Vocal Synth engine makes it incredibly easy to modify the initial sound, allowing you to achieve completely different sonic textures.

About the Producer

Ethera Gold Odyssey was created by Stefano Maccarelli, an Award-Winning Sound Designer & Composer with over 26 years’ experience in the audio industry, film music, sound design & audio postproduction. Stefano has scored or licensed music & sound design for ad campaigns and TV Shows of many leading broadcasting brands such as Fox, National Geographic, Sky, A&T Networks, Fox Sports, Disney and Marvel.[/spoiler]

Vocal Supervisor

Clara Sorace is a professional vocalist & vocal coach from Italy who is based in Rome. She is the main female Vocalist of the Ethera Gold Series. She studied piano and singing for over 12 years. She has participated in various competitions and festivals including the San Remo Academy of Song where she reached the final. Clara has extensive experience of musical production and vocal arrangements, which has enabled her to widen her stylistic versatility and range so that she can switch easily from Soul & Pop to Cinematic and Epic and Folk Music. Her vocals have been used in many international musical works, international trailers, TV Shows, video games like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla by Ubisoft, Age of Empires IV, Gundam The Witcher from Mercury, DUNE VideoGames, Perfect New World Video Game. She currently works with Top Level Composers.[/spoiler]

The Vocalist

Sarah Claudia Mueller is a German-Greek Soprano who lives and works in Italy. She began her music career at the age of 7 with piano and singing lessons and graduated in Opera Singing at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome in 2024. Basically a soprano of coloratura with a wide vocal range, she had her debut at the Theatre San Carlo in Naples, in collaboration with Europa InCanto, in the role of The Queen Of The Night from the Magic Flute. She participated in national and international competitions in the international radiophonic competition of Rai Radio 3 “Voci in Barcaccia – Largo ai Giovani”. Her repertoire embraces baroque music as well as Italian, French and German opera; chamber music, the category Lied and contemporary classical music.[/spoiler]
