Performance percussion has been around since the dawn of sampling and is one of the most widely used loop-based materials for composers.
\n\u6f14\u594f\u6253\u51fb\u4e50\u4ece\u53d6\u6837\u5f00\u59cb\u5c31\u5b58\u5728\u4e86\uff0c\u662f\u4f5c\u66f2\u5bb6\u4f7f\u7528\u6700\u5e7f\u6cdb\u7684\u5faa\u73af\u6750\u6599\u4e4b\u4e00\u3002<\/p>\n
In August 2010 we got in touch with renowned composer Michael Wandmacher* who had a request for sampled drums that one would think would be available but, upon research showed to be lacking in this particular form.
\n2010\u5e748\u6708\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u8054\u7cfb\u4e86\u8457\u540d\u4f5c\u66f2\u5bb6\u8fc8\u514b\u5c14\u00b7\u65fa\u8fbe\u9a6c\u8d6b*\uff0c\u4ed6\u60f3\u8981\u4e00\u79cd\u6837\u54c1\u9f13\uff0c\u4eba\u4eec\u8ba4\u4e3a\u8fd9\u662f\u53ef\u884c\u7684\uff0c\u4f46\u7814\u7a76\u8868\u660e\uff0c\u8fd9\u79cd\u7279\u6b8a\u5f62\u5f0f\u7684\u9f13\u7f3a\u4e4f\u3002<\/p>\n
We decided to team up for preproduction and get a content description together for sampled percussion.

This is why we hired one of the best percussion players available and locked him in the studio for about two weeks.
