The Circle Bells library was recorded with a rare and unique instrument called “Blossom Bells”, created by local SF Bay Area metal working artisan Pete Engelhart.

This hand-welded tuned percussion instrument features six steel conical bells tuned to different keys and spread out in a fan arrangement.
\n\u8fd9\u662f\u4e00\u79cd\u624b\u5de5\u710a\u63a5\u7684\u8c03\u8c10\u6253\u51fb\u4e50\u5668\uff0c\u5176\u7279\u70b9\u662f\u516d\u4e2a\u94a2\u9525\u5f62\u949f\u8c03\u5230\u4e0d\u540c\u7684\u952e\uff0c\u5e76\u4ee5\u6247\u5f62\u6392\u5217\u5c55\u5f00\u3002<\/p>\n
Each bell has a deeply rich, warm and sonorous tone with a long sustain and crystalline clarity.
\n\u6bcf\u4e2a\u949f\u90fd\u6709\u4e00\u4e2a\u6df1\u5ea6\u4e30\u5bcc\uff0c\u6e29\u6696\u548c\u54cd\u4eae\u7684\u97f3\u8c03\uff0c\u5177\u6709\u6301\u4e45\u548c\u6c34\u6676\u6e05\u6670\u3002<\/p>\n
We recorded them with soft mallets, hard picks and viola bow with both single-strikes\/staccatos and rolls\/sustains for each articulation.
\n\u6211\u4eec\u7528\u67d4\u8f6f\u7684\u6728\u69cc\u3001\u575a\u786c\u7684\u62e8\u7247\u548c\u4e2d\u63d0\u7434\u5f13\u8bb0\u5f55\u4ed6\u4eec\uff0c\u6bcf\u4e00\u4e2a\u53d1\u97f3\u90fd\u6709\u5355\u51fb\/\u65ad\u594f\u548c\u6eda\u52a8\/\u6301\u7eed\u3002<\/p>\n
Its distinctive sound evokes the feel of a steel Marimbaphone or Celeste when played with mallets and a glass armonica when bowed, yet its character and undulating resonance defies any direct comparison to any other instrument.
\n\u5b83\u72ec\u7279\u7684\u58f0\u97f3\u8ba9\u4eba\u60f3\u8d77\u7528\u6728\u69cc\u6f14\u594f\u7684\u94a2\u5236\u9a6c\u6797\u5df4\u7434\u6216\u585e\u83b1\u65af\u7279\u7434\uff0c\u4ee5\u53ca\u5f13\u5f26\u6f14\u594f\u7684\u73bb\u7483\u7434\uff0c\u4f46\u5b83\u7684\u7279\u70b9\u548c\u8d77\u4f0f\u7684\u5171\u632f\u65e0\u6cd5\u4e0e\u4efb\u4f55\u5176\u4ed6\u4e50\u5668\u76f4\u63a5\u76f8\u6bd4\u3002<\/p>\n
The bells range in size from 2″ to 3 1\/2″ in diameter and each about 10″ long.

Each note can sustain for up to 10 seconds or more and carries a deep blend of beautiful overtones.
