The Synchron Player engine is designed to manage multi-microphone recordings in a highly efficient and intuitive way. Our main objective is to provide a quick overview of all available articulations in a tree view, with multiple tabs to edit these articulations and to mix all available microphones with the integrated mixer to suit all mixing situations, from stereo to immersive surround sound formats.

The interface is both scalable and resizable, so it is retina-ready and will adapt to any screen size.

  • All components (CacheViewer, Wrapper, Loader, Emulator) were written from scratch. R2R components are no longer used.
  • Microsoft Visual C++ v14 Redistributable (x64) is now optional.
  • AAX has been temporarily removed from the installer due to functionality issues. Support is planned to be restored in future versions.
  • To ensure users enjoy a familiar user experience, support for all file formats and the original R2R architecture has been preserved.

In new versions of the program, the developer has introduced a limit on the number of files in scanned directories in the Database tab. The limit is 100 files. All files except .SYVOLUME are counted, as well as the folders themselves. If the limit is exceeded, the library will no longer be displayed in the sampler. Work is currently underway to remove this limitation.
