Synchron Timpani II features five Adams Artist Alpha timpani with diameters of 20″, 23″, 26″, 29″, and 32″, played with soft mallets. These instruments are also included in the Synchron Percussion II Collection.

The five different sizes of timpani were sampled over the maximum playable range of approximately two octaves. Therefore, you may choose from up to three different timpani to achieve any given pitch. Single hits were recorded in open and muted variants with 12 dynamic layers and 4 round robins for single strokes. Apart from that, there are also static and dynamic rolls at your disposal.
